Working closely with artists and curators, the Local Project Manager Diego Carpentiero and Creative New Zealand, for the site specific installation of Et Al Collective at the Istituto della Pieta’ in Venice.

“The main research focus was the integration of multi-faceted computer and network technologies within a substantial site-specific sculptural installation. Integrated audio content included found texts spoken through third generation text-to-speech synthesized voice, and a hundred media files. The work was monitored off-site, with a customized programme updated from NZ via a web interface. The fundamental practice’ was supported by Creative New Zealand, the Arts Council of New Zealand Toi Aotearoa.”
The Fundamental Practice is an initiative of Creative New Zealand, the Arts Council of New Zealand Toi Aotearoa, in association with the Govett-Brewster Art Gallery, and the Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa, and The University of Auckland.
